If one starts a LO product from a shortcut, it can be done by adding the parameter "--nologo" to the destination. But most of the time I use LO to open files, in that case the splash screen persists. Is there a way to disable it in every way?

I can confirm that LO does have a "
--nologo" command-line switch (at least according to the docs on my machine!). Here's the info I get when I run "
--nologo don't show startup screen.
If you're still seeing the startup screen when you use this command-line switch, then that sounds like a bug!
