Conditional formatting

How do I conditionally format cells with a color condition, e.g if the value of a cell meets a defined condition, the contents will show in a particular color. Clicking on the conditional formatting under formats allows me to define the condition, but then asks for an Excel Style. Since I don't know which Excel Style it wants . . . .

What version of LIbreOffice are you using?. From 3.6 there are new options.

Create the style (Format > Style and Formating) you want (cell color, font, size, etc.) and choose this style in the conditional formating dialog.
