I posted a bug which can be seen here

I know this will be sorted eventually, but in the meantime I am stacking a lot of work which needs to be completed. So, I need a work-around. All the original documents are in RTF format and the images respond to a right Click/Picture/Original Size process, but most of the documents have large numbers of the images and I do not have time to do this one by one.

Is there a way to select all Images in a Writer Document and return them all to their original size?

I am happy to do this with a macro or regex if anyone can advise how. I am using Ubuntu 12.04 and the stock LibreOffice from the Software Centre

I updated your bug report with some additional information. There is no need to write a macro. You simply need to revert to LibreOffice 3.4.6 (the last stable version in the 3.4.x branch).

You can get a copy from here http://ftp.uni-muenster.de/pub/software/DocumentFoundation/libreoffice/stable/3.4.6/

(I hope you know how to install it under Linux, because I don't :) )

Thanks. As an Ubuntu user we get a modified version tested to be stable on our O/s. So this is a bit beyond me too. Hope someone finds a solution via the current stable version for Ubuntu 12.04

And the good news is the bug has been fixed, verified and scheduled for release in 3.6.4
