Unicode symbol not displaying in libreoffice 5.2.2

Hi all,
I’m sorry to ask a question that seems already dealt with before. Infact I asked it sometime back and seemed to obtain a solution but looks like the problem has come back. I’m working on libreoffice 5.2.2 on windows 10 and unfortunately some unicode characters, especially, 𝔓 (u+1d513), are not being displayed properly. I’ve tried using fonts like freefont, cardo, Apparatus SIL, etc., but to no avail. it looks like LO just can’t display them coz when i copy them onto notepad, they display perfectly. in LO, the symbol just appears as a box with a question mark inside it. What do you suggest i do?

Thanks

There was a previous similar question. Can’t view some Unicode characters in LO5.1 Can't view some Unicode characters in LO5.1. Perhaps you should read it. You do not specify any Language and keyboard settings you are using.

If you are using Windows you should be able to enter any Unicode directly say using the default font, Liberation Serif for text, enter the code point and with cursor after the last character toggle to display the glyph with +x. E.g. for U+1d513, enter U+1d513 and then +x to toggle to 𝔓.

LibreOffice uses Unicode. However 𝔓 ctrl/ shift u+1d513 is the sequence used to insert Unicode characters on a Linux system. If you have a problem showing a box with a question mark for example ctrl/shift (u+fffd) this is often found by cutting / pasting an extended unicode character on a system, typically Windows, that is not supporting unicode. This is an error from the cut/paste not LibreOffice which is correctly showing the Unicode .
Standard LibreOffice fonts, for example Arial, contain characters such as 𝔓.
