Combine text frames in LibreOffice Draw

I have a draw document that has hundreds of text frames each containing just one word of editable text. I would like to combine them into a flowing document. Is there any way to do this?

It seems (!) that you have “ripped” a PDF document or similar. For proceeding in Writer (“flowing document”) this is - sorry - the wrong way. You have to use better (OCR) programs like Abby Finereader, IRIS or MS Word (version 2010 or later).

Probably you convert your Draw document into PDF format and try out an online conversion service.

LibreOffice can’t do; hopefully this is a point of development in future…

Cheers

Indeed I’m trying to rip a PDF document. It seems like deliberate measures were taken to prevent copying text from the PDF. I’m trying to convert it to text.

No; it is just that positioning text parts in PDF is done so that each small part has its own coordinates on a page; importing that, we cannot ensure the correct placement unless we put each such part into a frame and position it to those coordinates. Of course, some smart processing could help, but it wasn’t implemented yet.

See How to import pdf in Libreoffice 7.0 (at LibreOffice 6.4).
