What is Translated User Interface?

I saw it in the download page. What is it used for ?

Translated User Interface package lets you have menus, button text and tooltips, sidebar labels, dialogs and so on in the selected language:

But it’s unusual to see some package offered for en-US; and the interface you show looks unfamiliar to me - is that some regional site? What is the URL?

@mikekaganski >>> Thank you so much. I live in Pathum Thani, Thailand. I enjoy U.S. English menu in all of LO modules. I’m using Fedora 30 Workstation, Fedora 30 Server and LO 6.3.0.0-beta2.

The thing is that en-US is the base translation, built into LibreOffice main files, and does not (should not) require any extra packages - that’s why I told it’s unusual to see it offered.

@mikekaganski >>> Download LibreOffice | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft

@lonk: thanks - I see; our infra master said that it was an oversight, because en-US package is not needed, as I mentioned above.

@Mike2: well for macos you need to download install the translated interface on your own (sadly, there is somewhere a bug report about that); so not that uncommon.

Sigh. I only say about en-US, which is built-in and not needed!
