Getting Help

I have just installed LibreOffice v 3.6.3 (Vista Ultimate).

If I go to Help → LibreOffice Help or click on Help icon I do not get proper help pege - it does not show help for the LibreOffice modules. I get: http://help.libreoffice.org/swriter/.uno%3AHelpIndex?Language=en-US&System=WIN&Version=3.6#bm_id3149178

If I click F1 I get the proper help with access to the help for each LibreOffice module. I get: http://help.libreoffice.org/swriter/.HelpId%3AStartCenter%3AWriterButton?Language=en-US&System=WIN&Version=3.6#bm_id1022200910564632

What is going wrong??

I have already done
“Download help file from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ for you language and install it. Now when pressing F1 you would get local help, instead of internet.”

Download help file from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ for you language and install it. Now when pressing F1 you would get local help, instead of internet.

Thanks! This is much better (faster and more useful) than the web based help that LO defaults to.

Please see edited question - I have already installed help file.

Hi @dogdog,

Still having this problem? If installing the latest release doesn’t seem to fix this problem, please file a bug and provide a list of steps that can reproduce your problem. It’s possible that there’s a bug in the way that we invoke local help vs. online help.

Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format “fdo#123456”.

Thanks!
