For the second problem, the only workaround is to use the Linux Libertine G font with the "circ=2" parameter. That's it, on the font name for the character style used to the "anchor" of the notes, write

Linux Libertine G:circ=2


This way a Graphite substitution will be activated and numbers will be displayed between parenthesis.
