I apologize if this question is a bit basic. I want to perform a simple calculation in LibreOffice Calc. I used youtube-dl to create a text document of the duration of each video in a given playlist. I want to use LibreOffice Calc to add the resulting time duration data. Each column has a video time presented in this format:
1:07:25
53:59
36
It follows in the order of hours, then minutes, then seconds. If there is no hour, then simply minutes and seconds. And occasionally just seconds if it's a short video.
I'm wondering if it's possible to set a formula to import a plaintext document and calculate the addition of these time durations in this format?johnbrandonsmithSat, 02 Nov 2019 11:34:30 +0100https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/215546/I have that by add a sum in a column gives a datehttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/152779/i-have-that-by-add-a-sum-in-a-column-gives-a-date/![image description](/upfiles/15242268183566399.png)
To be more clear you can see it in column two, and column six.
Sorry in my English or even my Dutch I always make mistakes, but bugs like this I can eat my socks for it.BJC2018Fri, 20 Apr 2018 14:22:30 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/152779/How to add a column of Hourshttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/129434/how-to-add-a-column-of-hours/On a sheet I am Calculating the total time from the F column as below;
F4=10:30
F5=09:30
F6=00:00
F7=08:15
F8=10:00
F9=11:00
F10=09:30
F11=01:00
I would like to add these hours Up. So in this Example, in F35 the result should be **59:45**
If there is a way to do this, could someone please give a step by step guide on how I might do this?
Thank-you very much community.simontfsThu, 07 Sep 2017 19:24:05 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/129434/possible bug in addition of formula result if result is "" (blank)https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/120322/possible-bug-in-addition-of-formula-result-if-result-is-blank/I have a small spreadsheet that shows this problem and if I can figure out how to attach it or upload it I will.
The problem I'm seeing is this:
I have a formula that generates either a blank or a number. The result of this formula is added to another number. If the formula generates a blank the result of cell+cell is #value, but the result of sum(cell:cell) is correct.
Looks like I can't upload an example SS so here goes a long and tedious explanation.
Please enter the following and you will see the problem:
Cell A1 1
Cell A3 1
Cell A4 blank (i.e. nothing in this cell)
Cell A5 3
Cell A6 =A3+A4+A5
Cell B3 1
Cell B4 =if(A1=1,"",2)
Cell B5 3
Cell B6 =B3+B4+B5
Cell C3 1
Cell C4 =if(A1=1,"",2)
Cell C5 3
Cell C6 =sum(C3:C5)
If you get the same result I got then you will see the following:
A6 4
B6 #VALUE!
C6 4
This looks like a bug to me. Somehow when the formula evaluates to "", addition fails, though a simple, non-formulaic "" works fine.
I'm hoping someone will either verify the problem and I'll report a bug, or explain to me what I'm doing wrong.dottoreTue, 08 Aug 2017 05:10:39 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/120322/How to put data from one colum into different columshttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/79242/how-to-put-data-from-one-colum-into-different-colums/It's actualy a bit more complex.
I have in one page a colum with different values. Next to it a list with monthes (drop downlist). Is it possible to make a cel in another page under each month with the addition of the values corresponding to that month.
I've putted a simple version of the question in an attachement.
ps.: sorry about my poor Englisch, and thank you very much!!!

I've reproduced this in other cells as well. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere or what?vangrimoireSat, 30 Apr 2016 05:28:31 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/69083/How do I add 30 days to date field on the form?https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/51286/how-do-i-add-30-days-to-date-field-on-the-form/ I am creating a form for recording invoices. Which has an "invoice creation" date that I will enter manually but I would like to automatically update the "payment due" date to reflect "invoice creation" date plus 30 days. Does anybody know a method of doing this please?
Cheers,

I am using LibreOffice Calc Version: 4.2.4.2
My issue is that while trying to subtract two cells with Date & Time input together, I get
Fault Date & Time in NMS; OSP; Maintenance Team; Restore Date & Time in NMS; Total Downtime
7/2/14 16:49 Fazlu Alamin-2 7/2/14 21:22 30:04:33
The "Total Downtime" is formatted as (DD\hh:mm). The result should only be 4:33 Hrs:Mins
What am I doing wrong here:
Thanks

I load these into Calc and categorize my expenses for taxes and budget comparison. I'm using Calc 4.1.x and win 8.1. I'm using a function such as =sum(a1:a20). The usual total result is the value in a1 or some random number or zero.
In addition I cannot get negative numbers to display in red. The are preceded by a minus sign.
Suggestions or other help will be appreciated.moonvineSun, 03 Nov 2013 00:11:52 +0100https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/24739/
