I want to provide a count of the number of odd (or even) numbers that occur in a range of numbers but I don't know how to use the ISODD function within the range used in COUNTIF e.g. something like =COUNTIF(A1:F1,ISODD(?)) what goes into (?) A1:F1 might contain 1,1,2,2,3,3 so the result should be 4 in this case. I realise I could set up an ISODD test for each cell then sum the results but was hoping for a more concise way of expressing as one formula?
Cheers

Hi:
When I use this (http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/9205/is-there-a-way-to-add-background-color-to/?answer=9313) and other methods found, specifically using ISEVEN(ROW()), it takes away the "center" formatting of the last column (F). When I try to correct this, it only changes the formatting for the even columns.
If I try to justify column C it also only does it for every even column.
How can I color alternate rows but keep formatting per column?
Thanks!
