It might be a very causal situation. I want to paste some date into filtered column. Of course it is a somehow tricky. LO gives a warning "Insert into multiple selection not possible"
Is there a way how I can paste into visible cells only omitting cells hidden by filter?
All comments are appreciated
ThnxsingularitySun, 10 Jun 2018 21:20:40 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/157634/Fast, easy way to move all cells within a formula?https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/97218/fast-easy-way-to-move-all-cells-within-a-formula/I have come across a certain issue a few times now; sometimes I find myself adding additional columns to a table in calc; let's use just 1 column as an example.
In my extra column I want to include the same formula as contained within another pre-existing column.
So, the easiest way to add this information would be to copy/paste the info from the pre-existing column using the **copy/paste special** (formulas) function.
Well the problem is that when I use this function, all of the formulas apply to different cells.
**For example:** **if the extra column was added directly to the left of the pre-existing column**, then the cells detailed in the formula will all have shifted **1 cell to the left** also. Similarly, **if the extra column was added directly to the right of the pre-existing column**, then the cells detailed in the formula will all have shifted **1 cell to the right** also.
I wonder if there is a fast and easy way to move all the cells detailed within a formula at the same time, without having to retype the cell names in the formula.
I know I can double click the cell containing the formula and then drag the coloured boxes that specify which cells are used in the formula, but even this can take a fair bit of time on some of the longer formulas.
Any ideas guys?
If anyone wants me to make this question more clear, I could upload an example document.appreciatethehelpSun, 28 May 2017 23:20:54 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/97218/Remnants of Copy / Paste Macrohttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/16706/remnants-of-copy-paste-macro/Hello
I have a simple macro that copy / pastes some cells and after it completes the selection of cells that were copied remains selected.
Is there some way to deselect with a macro? Just for better visual purposes.
