At present I need to type this information into the cells every time the fit changes. Is there any way to make a reference in a cell to the fit parameters. That would be awesome!12stringpcMon, 22 Apr 2019 16:35:33 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/191200/logarithmic trendline not displaying on charthttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/88339/logarithmic-trendline-not-displaying-on-chart/I have been trying to add a trendline to my chart, the equation and R-squared values display, but the line is nowhere to be seen. I have adjusted the line options to ensure that there is a thickness, transparency is set to 0%, and that the line option is a value other than "none". I want a logarithmic trendline, but tried a linear trendline as well and it also only displayed the equation and not the line itself. I had previously worked on the spreadsheet, created the chart, saved the file and closed the program. Upon reopening the file I'm having this issue.

I've successfully created a polynomial trend line on a calc chart. Now I want to display only the trend line without the source chart. How do I do this? Thanks.
stuskierWed, 20 Jan 2016 04:53:43 +0100https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/63290/How does this TREND() without a range workhttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/60539/how-does-this-trend-without-a-range-work/ I'm looking at a spreadsheet that gets a result in a cell using something like this :
TREND(
IF({1,0},
VLOOKUP(SMALL($AW$2:$AW$20,COUNTIF($AW$2:$AW$20,"<"&B23)),$AW$2:$AX$20,2,0),
VLOOKUP(LARGE($AW$2:$AW$20,COUNTIF($AW$2:$AW$20,">"&B23)),$AW$2:$AX$20,2,0)
),
IF({1,0},
SMALL($AW$2:$AW$20,COUNTIF($AW$2:$AW$20,"<"&B23)),
LARGE($AW$2:$AW$20,COUNTIF($AW$2:$AW$20,">"&B23))
)
,B23
)
How does this work, as TREND() requires a range ? Do those IF({} do something special to the VLOOKUP ?
B23 is a simple value, and AW2:AW20 and AX2:AX20 are simple cell ranges of numbers.

Is there any way to set the data range of the trend line specifically without changing the entire data range of the original plot?kchism1386Mon, 13 Aug 2012 20:19:01 +0200https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/4806/Polynomial equation for chart's trend linehttps://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/7319/polynomial-equation-for-charts-trend-line/Hi there, is there any possibility to add polynomial equation for chart's trend line? As long as I noticed, there only linear, log, power, and exponential.
Thank you.milmiWed, 31 Oct 2012 10:15:54 +0100https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/7319/
