I have a problem when it comes to .doc files. Every time I open one, it seems as if the spell check feature doesn’t work. Although, when it is a .docx or an .odt file, the feature seems to work perfectly. Does anyone else have this issue?

- What version of LibreOffice are you using?
- What operating system?
- What happens when you try to use the spellchecker on a .doc file?
- If you take an .odt file that you can spellcheck and save it as a .doc file, does the spellchecker work on the .doc file version?
