Dear LibreOffice!
Please HELP!!! I have created a word doc. file in a Windows format, and afterwards I have made changes on the same file, but in LibreOffice.
Now I tried to open this file, but only OOO characters can be seen and nothing else appears, I have lost my file!!!:((
Please help me in repairing this file, I have been working on it for 2 weeks and I have no double copy of it!!!

Is the contents sensitive/confidential?
Can you upload the file somewhere to allow for inspection?
If you can not share the file, my suggestion is to try to rename the file extension (try zip, docx or odt)
Which LibreOffice version are you using? Under which OS and version?
Question 1: Did you save the document revised in LO in WORD/DOC format, or as a LO/ODT file?
2: Is it WORD or LO that is showing illegible data? Older versions of WORD may not be able to read ODT files.
