Hi everyone,

I have a whole dissertation done without automatic formatting (body, titles, etc, were done by just manually changing font/size). I now need to change everything that was written in Times New Roman 12pt to 11pt, what was 11pt to 10pt and what was 10pt to 9pt. Is there a way to do so through the whole document at once?

Thanks and greetings,

Very bad idea. Writing your next dissertation you should change the proceeding.

Fortunately the 'F&R' tool of LibreOffice (of AOO too) can find Attributes / Formats.
Just make a trial document, learn and exercise.

Do not just change the fontsizes but first define named styles, then 'Find All' searching for the size and apply the appropriate named style to the search result.
Start with the smallest font to replace with a smaller one.... (!)
After some training do it with a copy of your thesis...
