LibreOffice 4.0.3 Install error in Windows 7 x64

I can´t install LibreOffice 4.0.3 (and earlier versions) for Windows 7 x64
Conflict with these applications:

Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface Service

Intel(R) Management and Security Application User Notification Service

image description

Other applications installed without problems.
Does anyone have a work-around for this?

I would like to install LibreOffice without killing those apps.

Is it possible? Thanks

Please have a look at → Problems Upgrading 3.6.1 to 3.6.2.

EDIT 2013-04-04

Bug 56189 - Intel(R) Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface Service
Intel(R) Management and Security Application User Notification Service

Workaround:

“I got around the problem by temporarily stopping the two services,
Control Panel – Administrative Tools - Services.”

Yes, this looks like the same issue!

Hi,
I had the same issue, try the following workaround :
Start command prompt as administrator (start | cmd | right-click “cmd” run as administrator)

got to the downloaded MSI installation file path from the command prompt.
CD /D c:\users\xxxxx\downloads

run the installer :
msiexec /i LibreOffice_4.0.0_Win_x86.msi

It looks like an elevation privilege issue.

Nicolas

With LibreOffice 4.0.1 still the same problem.

Nicolas thanks for your answer, but your trick don´t work for me.

I tried 4.0.1.2 using Nicolas’s trick. Installation failed at the “copying new files” stage with the error: “Error 1334. The file ‘esource.eu{2E’ cannot be installed becuuse the file cannot be found in the cabinet file ‘libreoffice1.cab’.” Installation was OK on a different computer. Installation of LibreOffice_3.6.1 is OK on this computer.

With LibreOffice 4.0.2 still the same problem.
