LibreOffice 4.0 when will autosave and resume plus iCloud features be added?

It is now version 4.0 of LibreOffice and I have been a user of this Office Suite on OS X and Ubuntu Linux for a long time.

But for Macintosh OS X users running OS X Lion and OS X Mountain, it would be nice to be able to use autosave, resume etc. plus iCloud features with LibreOffice when will that happen???

Kind regards
Preben Duus, Denmark

"Autosave" will be implemented in LibreOffice 4.1.0.

Option

Load/Save → General

☐/:ballot_box_with_check: Automatically save the document too

Hi @leopard2007,

Let’s split this question up

  1. LibreOffice supports Autosave right now – see Saving Documents Automatically in the LibreOffice help.

  2. Are there any particular “iCloud features” you’re desiring? iCloud appears to be Apple’s cloud storage/cloud computing service – is there some kind of integration you’re seeking?

If there are specific iCloud features that you’d like to see in a future release of LO, please file an enhancement bug and provide as much information about the features possible. Don’t forget to mark your bug as an ‘enhancement’. The QA team will be happy to help you triage your feature request in the bugtracker.

Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format “fdo#123456”.

Thanks!

Do you really find the need to venture a guess as to what iCloud “appears to be”? Seems pretty obvious what kind of integration he’s seeking… iCloud integration

@mandofever, What does iCloud integration entail? Pushing documents up? Pulling documents down? Concurrent editing? Versioning? Auto-conversion/transcoding in the cloud?
