I have a graphic that was created in Word. Is there a way to import it into Libre Writer and still be able to edit it?

I am trying to avoid having to go back to Word to edit it

In what format is the graphic?

It would help if you posted a sample here (upload to a file sharing and post link here) so that others be able to see your problem and suggest.

Hello @Benzi,

LibreOffice Writer is best suited for text processing.

You can import graphics into your document, but in order to edit those imported graphics i would suggest to use another program that is best suited to edit graphics of your particular format.

It was created with Word’s drawing tools. I would like to edit it in LibreOffice or LibreDraw

Is this an answer to the topic’s question? Please use comments for that kind of stuff.

Also, why do you make it wiki?

First it is to know:

What Word version? What file extension, DOCX or DOC. Be aware, that images/graphics and their bitmap border of DOCX format only can be read as unique bitmaps if saved in DOC format. So specify your question and, of course, load up a sample of your document in any of the upload websites if it is not possible here in this forum based on excellent forum software…
