Libreoffice 4 impress shut-down

Hello,

I’m working in Libreoffice 4.0 Impress, in a .pptx file. When I press ctrl+v the program shutdowns, causing me to loss all of my updates. I also experience a shut-down when working normally. Are there any problem reported with working in Impress in .pptx files?

Thank you very much for the help.

Rgds.

Would it be a possibility to look what function is in Tiago Silva’s Impress allocated to ctrl+v?

Path in Impress: Tools / Customize / Keyboard and then scroll to ctrl+v

Hi @TiagoSilva,

As you may know, all of our bugs are filed with Bugzilla. Here’s a search string for all open bugs that mention “pptx” (126 hits):

And a similar search on the Ask site (20 hits):

If we limit our Bugzilla search to “pptx” + “crash”, we get only 10 hits:

Hello,

thank you for your replies.

I’ve check the shortcut in the tools and is addressed to the “Paste” command. I also experienced a shut-down with the “Copy” and “paste”, using the rigth button of the mouse.

I’ll look into the links that Quibit indicate so if I can foud the bug. if not, I’ll reported.

Rgds.

I am pretty sure this happens only when you copy certain kind of content (eg images of JPEG type with no border) or in a certain way (to a new document or to a slide where a table is selected). It would help if you can narrow it down and find how it is reproducible on an entirely new document.
