How to create a donut chart with labels?

I am looking at Italo’s donut chart http://www.italovignoli.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/pippo.jpg

How do I add labels on the chart - like numbers: 300, 12, 8 and 25 on the sample? How to add labels like LibreOffice/OpenOffice in the sample and how to add company names lables?
I can’t find this options in LibreOffice Calc v3.5.1 on Windows. Were this labels added in LibreOffice or in some image program?

Have you taken a look in the program help?

*Chart Type Pie

On the first page of the Chart Wizard you can choose a chart type.
To access this command…

Choose Insert - Chart
Pie

A pie chart shows values as circular sectors of the total circle. The length of the arc, or the area of each sector, is proportional to its value.

  • Pie - this subtype shows sectors as colored areas of the total pie, for one data column only. In the created chart, you can click and drag any sector to separate that sector from the remaining pie or to join it back.
  • Exploded pie - this subtype shows the sectors already separated from each other. In the created chart, you can click and drag any sector to move it along a radial from the pie’s center.
  • Donut - this subtype can show multiple data columns. Each data column is shown as one donut shape with a hole inside, where the next data column can be shown. In the created chart, you can click and drag an outer sector to move it along a radial from the donut’s center.
  • Exploded donut - this subtype shows the outer sectors already separated from the remaining donut. In the created chart, you can click and drag an outer sector to move it along a radial from the donut’s center.

Thanks for help. I know how to create a donats (pie) graph. My question is how to create LABELS on donats graph, just like on the link from my first post?

If I understand, while editing the chart, Menu/Insert/Data labels and play with options. But I think no option for automatic arrows with titles out of donut. I think this was made by hand.

The answer by @mariosv indicates how to create a donut chart. This answer explains how to add labels to data series in later versions (v4.x) of Calc. It appears that in earlier versions (v3.5.x) this feature was not available. In the provided example the labels were likely manually overlaid.

  1. Edit the chart (once created).
  2. Right-click on a data series > Insert Data Labels. Alternatively select only a data point - single segment in the series - via a second click while the series is select > Insert Single Data Label.
  3. Labels for each data point in the series can be further edited (rotated, removed, etc.) selecting and right-click > Format Data Labels… (refer pp.90-91 in the Calc v4.1 User Guide.
