Vertical column line alignment issue (writer)

Hey guys.

As you will see in the attached document, the dividing line between the cells containing the words “POSTURE” and “TIMING” isn’t in line with the vertical line below.
I am not sure why this is happening; I have set both columns to be spaced equally…

If anyone could shed some light on why this is happening and/or provide a solution it’d be much appreciated.

“Aspect Categories” table example…odt

Hi

You could adjust with the mouse but it could be easier in the following way:

  • Click in the “posture” cell
  • TableSizeColumn width5 cm

(my ui is in french, so cm, may be adapt to your environment)

Regards

Additional to pierre-yves samyn’s reply:

Mark the 2 cells below the words “POSTURE” and “TIMING” and there you can find out that the column width is 5,0 cm and 4,84 cm. After that select the 2 cells which include “POSTURE” and “TIMING” end adjust by numbers.

Your problems seems to be caused by the merged cells on the right hand side of the table. Merged cells often are the reason for layout problems…
