How can I thicken the red underlining of misspelt words? The default thin red squiggle is insufficient.

I’ve been using LibreOffice (OpenOffice) for about 5 years, but the thin red squiggly underlining of misspelt words is insufficient. Is there a way to thicken the underlining? or to make LibreOffice hghlight the whole word?

I too, would like to be able to adjust the indicator for a misspelt word. My wife cannot see the current, red, squiggly line.
