I cant get this column to sum. It is supposed to be currency formatted but when I have been messing about I have discovered that the data in the column all start with a hidden ’ ie. '$2.00 I have tried various format commands from the menu, as well as some of the options that popup when right clicking in the cell, nothing seems to work! I f I manually show the contents of one cell in the edit bar and remove the ’ by hand the calculation works, but it seems there should be a better solution than doing that 193 times!
