Recent documents

My WIN 10 computer suddenly shut down and a LibreOffice Writer doc also closed. Luckily, I had just saved the edits. However, when the computer was restarted and I fired up LibreOffice, “Recent Files” area was empty and nothing was in File > Recent Documents.

The computer “crash” seemed to clear out the Recent Files area. Is there a way to avoid that happening in the future?

I have already found the area where I can change the number of recent documents to appear. I’m just wanting to avoid losing Recent Files the next time the computer crashes. I don’t know if other settings were also lost.

Thanks!

There is information that must be stored ‘On Close LibO’ to provide the functionality. If there is no regular close down the respectve files may get damaged or “corrupted” as mostly is said. If you notice a specific effect of corruption there may also be additional effects not yet noticed by you.
