Anyway to set up columns so text goes down one side

I want to create a 2 page document, with 2 columns. But I would like to have the text stick to one side.
Atm, when I start a new page the text starts on the left side. I have to manually move the sections of text. I’m concerned it will cause editing issues, later on.

please see attached Jpeg, hope it conveys what im trying to do.

A question in return: What do you intend to use the other column for?
As there may not be a solution doing literally what you want, this is relevant concerning possiböe workarounds / alternatives.

I’m revising my CV. I looked to see how CV’s are done these days, and the ones I saw had the two columns. One side was work history, the other side, was key skills contract details.

In this case I would also suggest as @anon87010807 did. In fact it’s the way I use if I want to comment on imported or older texts. Works well. In addition I would suggest to give the table a third column. The middle column with a rather small width just for separating left from right.
BTW: A table cell is not restricted to one page in height.

If you want two columns independent of each other, the best way us to use a table with two columns. The number of rows will depend on how you want to combine or separate historical data and/or those skills.

Hi it worked. Much easier to edit. Thanks for you help.

Wiki post may look kind and humble. Judged from my experience there are no factual advantages.

Wiki post as question is bad: you cannot get any karma voor it, so you can’t become more useful for this board, and nobody can really improve your question for you.
