How to find document creation date

I sent a letter but didn’t date it, does anyone know how I could find out the date I created it, please

It’s common use to create letters from a letter template which contains a few elements generally used in letters, among them a field for ‘Date (fixed)’. If the template is used the current date is iserted there and will not change subsequently.

I think that FileProperties, tab General is what you’re looking for. Accept this question by clicking check mark in top left corner of this answer. Also, I recommend reading some documentation as there is a lot to learn about LibreOffice what differentiate it from that other word processor. Good place to start: Getting started guide.

+1 for the first sentence, although the rest of the answer seems unnecessary.

Oh, I did not want to be rude, just a thing I do when I see that user is low on points and question is beginner level. All I wanted to do is help with using this site as a lot of good answers are not accepted, and point to the right direction for those who want to learn more and get comfortable with LO. Not knowing your tool is worst then not having a tool at all. I still learn here something new every day. I just might make compilation of these questions and answers in one form or another.

What about making a question for this purpose, such as “What are tips for new users of this site or of LibreOffice?”. Give an explanation similar to your comment, and answer the question yourself. Then instead of the rest of the answer above, say “It looks like you’re new here. Take a look at (link to my beginner tips answer).” I often do something similar by linking to suggested guidelines for questions.
