AskLO: how to change sign in method?

I presently sign in with credentials from my email provider. This works fine. However, I intend to resign my subscription to switch to another provider. I wonder if there is a way to transfer sign in to another one from the sign-in page without losing my reputation (karma).

I also would like to add a second sign in method for security: associate my account with a traditional userid/password, because there has been occasions in the past where login through email provider failed during a prolonged period.

Has anyone an idea about the change and the alternate access door?

Use manage login methods on your User profile overview.
