Page-by-page scrolling in Writer at Full Screen

Earlier versions of Writer, in Full Screen mode, used to have double-headed arrows in the right-hand scroll, giving Page-up and Page-down functions. Has this feature been removed? If not, how do I restore them? The feature is present in Navigator, but Navigator is not available in Full Screen mode (or is it?). It is a very useful feature when reading documents. Using the keyboard paging keys displays the lower half of one page and the upper half of the next. I prefer to see the whole of one page at a time, and move up or down one page at a time, using one mouse click.

Yes, the “mini-navigator” from the scroll-bar has been removed. You can assign the commands to a short-cut key. Those are available in full-screen mode. The commands are “To Begin of Next Page” and “To Begin of Previous Page” in the category “Navigator”. Suitable short-cut key might be Alt+PgUP and Alt+PgDown.

Or you add these two commands to the “Full Screen”-toolbar, which is shown, when you have switched to full screen mode. Then you can use the mouse to go to previous or next page.

Regina,
Many thanks for your help. I am very much a beginner as far as Writer is concerned, but I am sure that I will be able to implement your solution.
