I have just installed LO5.4.4.2 (Jan 2018) and after successfully creating several documents while adding something at the end of a document suddenly the characters were not visible any more so I closed the document and unfortunately chose save and close. When I opened the document again everything was gone except one .png picture I pasted in. I deleted the file and started a new text doc, I can’t see the text when typing and after pasting in text the word count goes up but nothing visible.
Similar problem here: Some older files are now not showing heading lines. MS Word can rescue them but changes the formatting. When trying to copy contents into a new file (text only) LO Writer leaves out the first line. However this started BEFORE installing the latest version, still LO5.3.x. I am wondering whether this may have something to do with Windows uptate?
