How do I change the color of the font on the blue buttons, menu's and window

When I try to edit a document the menu buttons to save or cancel or apply etc are blue. No problemthere, however the color of the font is black and impossible to see. I have looked in Libre Office preferences and can’t see how to change this. I would attach a screenshot but can’t figure out how.

I also have this problem and unfortunately it persists in LibreOffice version 6.0.5.2 on Mac OS 10.13.6 (also MacBook Pro, late 2013. The proposed solution, unchecking “Increase contrast” does help, but I agree that this is a temporary solution. Please fix this!

I too have this problem since downloading Mac OS 10.13.2. My LibreOffice is version 5.4.4.2. On a Mac (mine is MacBook Pro, late 2013), the only solution I’ve found is to go to Mac System Preferences, Accessibility, Display, and uncheck “Increase contrast”. This changes the dark blue buttons to lighter blue buttons.

This is a poor temporary solution. LibreOffice needs a preference to select the color of the font in a button from black to white. That would solve the problem. Most of my apps have white fonts on the blue buttons. (As you may know, Mac allows you to change the button color from blue to graphite, but that does not help. The buttons are just as hard to read.)

Thanks very much for the info, at least now they are readable. But you re right that LibreOffice need to set a prefeence to change this. Thanks again
