Too often I have problems with LibreOffice in Norwegian translation. The problem is that math functions is translated into Norwegian in shortform and this makes it hard to find functions like square root. In English the term is like this =SQRT(16), but entering this in Norwegian LibreOffice give me fault (#NAME?). Then searching in help files do no good as help files all are in English and the terms I need in Norwegian is only available in English....

Is there a simple solution to this ? May I suggest that the program accept the English math functions, or it translates it ?

Hi Morten,
there is an option to use the English function names.
Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice Calc/Formula/Formula options - Use English functions names.
