How do I suppress an empty line / address field in mail merge

Just wondering how I can avoid empty lines in a mail merge (e.g. address line 2) if this field is empty. MS office was automatically ignoring these empty fields and only expended the address when required but in Libre 5 I now have this break in the address field for most of my letters. Any instructions (step by step for a beginner) would be appreciated.

You need to make the address line 2 a Hidden Paragraph.

Put your cursor at the beginning of the Addr2 line. Press Shift+Ctrl+F4 to bring up the Data Sources. Make sure the correct table is selected in the left-hand column. Now press Ctrl+F2 to insert something. Click the Functions tab and select Hidden Paragraph. Now drag the Addr2 column header from the data sources into the Condition field for the Hidden Paragraph. Now, at the end of the Condition field add EQ “”. You should now have something that looks like this in the Condition field: [fully.qualified.field.name] EQ “”. This is saying that if the Addr2 field is empty then the paragraph is hidden. Now click the Insert button and test the merge.

I can’t figure out how to do this for Mac. Ctrl+F2 does not work (nor does Option-F2 or CMD-F2)
There is no “Functions tab” from which I can select a Hidden Paragraph. I’m trying to do this with the 7x beta
