I am now using www.dropbox.com/ there free Basic, 2gb. When I save a file in LibreOffice, it goes to a folder on my hard drive that dropbox created, then to www.dropbox.com, the instant I save a file. But I have been told there are others, better, for different reasons.
First of all I would check another time and then again if I actually need a cloud service. No use in riding on a wave insofar.
Since the topic may be of interest over some time independent of specific contents, I will re-open it.

I believe this question is too subjective. It, based upon your comment, is not necessarily about LO but cloud services. In LO here are the supposed supported services:
As you can see, Dropbox isn’t a part of the list. There is a request, it seems, to add but don’t expect that any time soon. On the list I know Google Drive works on my system but many others have had problems. One Drive also has an open bug for many years - Bug #64237.
Personally that is all on the list I have dealt with. It is really a matter of personal needs, what the service provides and how well it works on the OS. Google Drive can be good but provides no supporting tools for Linux. Third party tools are not to my liking.
Best is to read up & test it. No one product will fit all & everyone will view a product differently depending upon their needs.
Thanks @Ratslinger. I guess I luck out with dropbox! But it was one Linux Lite suggested, offered, and after working good for 2 years, I added it to my windows 10 a year or so ago, both being older Dells E6420. LibreOffice offers third party tools, I did not know that term, “third party” tools, clearly, till now.
@MarkMcLean You misunderstand. LO is not offering the tools I referred to. Third party is ‘…an entity other than the original vendor of the development platform.’ So the reference made was that of ‘other than Google’.
