trying to change page layout but can’t figure out where to go to change the size from letter to legal

To set the format of your Writer page to “Legal”, please perform the following steps:
- Select the menu
Format : Page ...; - In the dialog that pops up, select the tab
Page; - In the Listbox
Format, select the item “Legal”; - Click OK.

Tk u - that did it. I am switching over to Libre from “Word” - it is similar in a lot of ways but other ways r not so easy - I find it overwhelming with all the icons - more so than Word - I find it kind of cluttered. Anyway, many tks for answering my question. Have yourself a great day!

An excellent choice to switch to… The appearance ( and presence ) of the Toolbars and Buttons can be fully customized to suit your taste.
