Hi there,
I’m facing a strange problem as after upgrading to version 6 (even if I can’t tell if it’s the reason), the cells that use to be calculated are now just static. The display is correct as soon as I dont edit it. If I make any change then no result, only the formula is displayed. Knowing of course that all is set to “AutoCalculate F9” and the option is NOT at “Display Formulas” in the options.
Struggling !
All help appreciated.

Just a little input. When copy/pasting in another cell it works fine ! Is that because of any specifics that cells gets from the various manipulations ?

sounds like you enter the formula in a cell that is formatted to type Text. Menu Format → Cells (or Ctrl+1) and then tab page Numbers, apply General. Then edit the formula string, for example append and delete a space and Enter.

I thought basically that the “equal” sign to enter a function will overload the field. Looks like I was totally wrong.

A cell of type Text preserves any input as literal text, not changing cell type or number format.
