Saving Drawing to make Watermark ( Problem Fixed)

Hi I need a water mark on a text doc. I understand how to do this using FORMAT, PAGE, AS GRAPHIC, BROWSE, but here my problem occurs, the formats that is required by Writer ,from a great long list, are not the formats that I seem to be able to save my output from Drawing with.

All I want to do is to be able to print a Watermark under a Text Doc that says SAMPLE

Can some nice person help

Stuart

I think Menu/File/Export is the way.

As @mariosv suggested, export your file from Draw first. A good image format is PNG. In Writer, go to Format > Page, click on the Background tab. in the As selector, choose Graphic, in File, select Browse and find your background image of “Sample” and click Ok. In Type, choose Area. Click Apply, then Ok.

Thank you it is so easy when you have nice people to help you
