Using version 6.02 with the menubar off there is no option to close a file

As things are one can either re-enable the menu bar then choose File > Close, or start a new file then close the old one. Can you add ‘Close’ to the File tab? Or is an option for users? If so I can’t find it!

Should have made clear, I’m using the Notebook bar in Writer.
