Writer dialog box has some glitches. It badly display content of boxes. Looks like it doesn’t refresh view correctly.

I use Linux Kubuntu (KDE Plasma) and for GTK2 and GTK3 applications I use Adwaita theme. I have installed libreoffice-gtk2 package.

Every now and then I see similar problems and need to restart the application. Under Help → About you can see which VCL plugin is used: most probably, it’s the old kde4 one.
You may try uninstalling the kde4 plugin so LibO uses the gtk one (2 or 3, depending on which one do you have installed) instead, but that is not “problem free” either (menus tend to be slow and you don’t have the native file picker).
