How do I change a colour picture to black and white?
LibreOffice is able to apply a “mask” to any image so it shows as black & white. You can find that tool on the sidebar: there is a “colour mode” on the “graphics” section of Properties panel. Notice, though, that this does not really change the image, only mask it: consider using a dedicated bitmap editing tool like gimp, krita, etc.
