I am trying to download the built-in-help. How do you do that? Also, I am trying to delete some documents. But it doesn’t seem to let me. How do I do that?

Deleting documents should be done from within your Operating System.
Deleting document URL’s from the LibreOffice list of Recent Documents, could be done using Bernard Marcelly’s History Master extension.
