Is LibreOffice Online a stable application?

I’m developing my final project and the main objetct of this work is to integrate the Libreoffice Online within the document management’s software. That is, the users will open a word or excel documents in web browser within the company’s application and they’ll be able to edit and save the documents online without the necessity to have the LibreOffice application in your computers.

I’m having a lot of problems trying to implement this solution. First a can’t compile the wsd code (online) available in Github (github.com/LibreOffice/online). There are a lot of compilation errors, I solved some of them but now I’ve one of them the I unable to overcome. When I search for a solution I see many people with lots of difficulties with this project too.

So, anyone can tell if LibreOffice Online’s open-source is a stable version? Does this application really work well? I know that Collabora’s company developed a LibreOffice Online and now they sell this service, but is that possible to do that for free? Is it a possible project for an engineering student to develop in 2 months?

Let me know your opinion about this issue, please. If you have some advice for me it’ll be really helpful.

From today’s #libreoffice-dev IRC:

[20:33:41] BitPoet: Just here to drop a little thank you to all here involved in LO, LOOL and CODE. I just integrated basic CODE support into a ProcessWire CMS module and it works like a charm! Took me less than a day once I got the hang of the WOPI stuff

Multiple people have built it; and you may look for custom builds offered over internet. If you have problems building, just check that you follow the documentation properly, and join the #libreoffice-dev IRC channel at FreeNode.

Converted to answer as nobody here will be able to provide better one.

Helpful comment, but it would be great to offer some more insight, if available. My hunch is that, e.g., examples of successful deployment would be good to know about!

Thanks for the reply.
But, have you already tried to built it?
I’ve followed the GitHub code from LibreOffice Online (I think that is a credible source). To build this application isn’t a complex process but the even following the instruction there are many errors during this process.
Have you know any reliable documentation to suggest?

Thank you in advise

This is an interesting question, but way outside my skill set or comfort zone! Still, a few searches came up with the following:

Hope that helps.
