LibreOffice Writer 6. Save table properties as style?

I use a specific 3 cell table for embedding code into my files. Cell 1: line numbers, right align, and as small as possible. Cell 2: added / removed lines (+/-) and as small as possible. Cell 3 is the preformatted and highlighted code.

I already have the background colour and border style saved, but I also have have the table centred by default with adjusted table spacing. Is there a way to save the table properties like I do styles?

Is AutoText an option for you?

When inserting the AutoText table a paragraph is inserted additionally. Spacing, colors, fontweights etc remain in the AutoText. It is a substitute for a “table style” which does not exist…

Have you tried this? Right click the table → Table Properties… → Name your table.

You should be able to copy and paste the table, then select all of the table. Delete should just remove the contents of the table, not the formatting nor styling of the table.

That is what I am doing while inside a document. But I would like to save it for other documents as well. Apart from starting from a template with the table already set, which works, I would like to just create a new 3 cell table and apply the formatting to it in any blank document.
