Is there a way to insert TOC in such a way that its first page uses one style, while the next ones will use another style? This is a requirement from my university and I am wondering if that is possible.
Yes it is possible, and it’s not a function of setting up ToC, but a function of setting up page styles. You should create the style fo your first ToC page, and for the second one. The first page style must define in its Organizer settings group that the next style is that second one. The second may define the first as the following - that way they will be alternating. Or it may define itself as next, then after the single first-style page, there will be as many second-style pages as required.
