Formula error office vs calc

hi everyone
first of all sorry for my bad english…

I have a problem…
I work with 10 files, something like 1 server file and 9 client files linked to the server file to sum the numbers contained in every one

The problem is: if I open one of those with excel and I accept to upgrade everything works but if I do the same with calc it’s like I lose formula and I have something like #REF

The same happens if I prepare a file with calc at home and then try to use with office at work where I have both installed but can’t use calc with this files

Do you have some good advice??

Tks

Maybe the links are made in a non compatible way between applications, or in one which LIbreOffice is not able to translate from a xls file.

Can you show some formula/content links here?

it’something like “=\server\directory[file.xls]AF’!$L10”

this works with excel but not with libre office
tks

And how does it look when it is open in LibreOffice?

=‘file://SERVER/SL/file.xls’#$AG.$L14
libre office

=’\SERVER\SL[file.xls]AG’!$L14
excel

The LibreOffice syntax seems right, I can link in my net with the same syntax. Can you open the linked file from LibreOffice?, are Calc and excelI in the same computer with the same user?. I think could be an issue about access rights.

sorry but I can’t find the link

calc and excel are in the same pc and with the same user. but with calc I have the error. tks very much

Try creating the link in calc and see how it looks en excel.
