I am using LibreOffice 4.0.1.2 on openSuSE 12.3. I select envelope size 10. After choosing either ‘new document’ or ‘insert’ LibreOffice displays the envelope size C5. While using openSuSE 12.1 and LibreOffice 3.5.x everything worked great. How can I get this fixed? I print envelopes on a regular basis and really need this working.

Have you loaded any envelope templates? It is possible you installed some extras with 3.5 … just a thought…
