Hi, I’m having an error everytime i try to open up a .pdf file.
“Error activating object: General OLE error.”
I am using a macbook.
Can you please help to resolve this? I am using libreoffice 6.0.5.2 version.
Hmmm… those users who create files which depend on Windows-only technology like OLE, doom other OS users to suffer… 
Ask the user who have sent you the document to send the PDF in a normal way.
Lol the problem is that it’s an old file I’m trying to extract from. So i guess this means… there is no solution?
If it’s not confidential, you could post it here, and I (being a Windows user) can extract it for you. Or send by mail if you prefer. I don’t see another solution.
what “data” are you trying to extract out of it? You may be able to copy and paste the data from the pdf from a pdf reader, or from a text editor.
