you will be have some problem if you will be work only with MS Office documents in LibreOffice. Some functions in Calc have different arguments or behavior than in Excel. There are else problem with import/export of complicated word documents.

It’s Libreoffice 6.0.6, the newest version of libreoffice.
I’ve used LO writer for, for example, school assignments that required .DOCX. Never had a problem. Didn’t push it into programming Basic macros, but unless you go to the ends of the earth, it’s fine as is.
