LO Writer doesn't open

Lubuntu 18.04.1 with LO 6.0.3.2.
All components of LO open except Writer.
Writer starts the border content of a window, then quits.

I also have Abiword installed as part of the Lubuntu package.
The file in .config/libreoffice is ‘4’.

I have uninstalled Writer, then re-installed, still will not open.

There are no other problems with the general operation of this machine, other than an occasional freeze which was occurring with a previous version of Lubuntu that had Writer working fine.

Try resetting the user profile. Does it help?

Re-discovered an old solution.

john@Bluebox:~$ sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-wiki-publisher

Works a treat, problem fixed.

Thank you electrostream for solving your own problem. It helped me too as I had the same problem. I’m using LO Version: 6.1.3.2 on Ubuntu 16.04.1 and LO Writer now starts again.
