My Base Version: 5.3.7.2 (x64) is not accepting the update from Java RTE 1.8.1 saying the folder, Java/jre1.8.0_181 does not contain the RTE application (which it does - in ‘Bin’). Please can you help how to set up in Tools, Options, Advanced

Probably you installed a 32 bits version of the JRE. As you have LO 64 bits, you need to install Java 64 bits too.
