In libreoffice 5 it was possible to hover over a point in an active x,y plot to display it's values. How do I restore this in office 6?

Make a right-click on the diagram and select "Edit" from the menu, so that the outer frame turns gray. Now the values are displayed with the mouse when driving over the diagram point.

Edit is not an option in the menu

I'm sorry the chart was already in edit mode, that's what I meant when I said "active". I know about about data labels but with over 300 points per xy line they become a black blur unless the point is abnormally high or low.

The display while hover method only showed the value for a single point.

In my version 6.0.6 "Edit" is the last item in the contextual menu (right click) of the chart.
